suggested that I start using rapidograph pens and Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes. So I acquired a set of each and this is my first time using them. I started doodling and pretty soon I had a tyrannosaurus Rex. Krunk and the zombie came soon after.
showed Sean this, too ,and he dug it! keep those pens clean - and only tap them upside down. it'll make the spring in them last quite a bit longer. and when they die, just buy a replacement tip. it'll save you $5 or so. wash them about once a week. and don't tap them nib down!
I'm stoked Murphy likes it too. I've been tapping them nib down with the cap on so they never actually make contact with anything. Is that okay? Also you scared me into keeping them clean already so I clean them every time I refill and every Monday like clockwork.
good man with the cleaning! and no, never tap them pen side down. tap them upside down to get them going. it'll help your pens last exponentially longer.
Thanks Zen. I was on the fence about the rapidograph pens for a while but they truly are amazing! As for the Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes... guy, seriously, I have never had brushes this nice before. If you got the funds, I say go for it. I just wish I knew about this stuff sooner.
